From problemset 5 onwards we are introducing a minor modification of rules: the number of solutions allowed per user, per problem has been increased from 100 to 256.

Due to a misunderstanding concerning the problem text, problem HOLIDAY will be extended to problemset 4. It will actually turn into two similar problems - "Act I" and "Act II". Since some of the solutions so far appear to refer to the first version of the problem, and others to the second, all solutions received so far will be copied to both these problems and rejudged.

With the kind assistance of Adrian Kuegel and Tomasz Czajka, contest rules have been somewhat clarified and simplified. It should soon be clear whether any further revision is necessary; if so, this will be probably be limited to technical or legal issues and not affect the nature of the contest.
